Our world is at a critical juncture. Climate and ecological breakdown, escalating wars and militarisation, rising inequalities and the growing cost of living are deepening crises across our communities. These crises are rooted in systems of extraction, colonialism, patriarchy, and corporate power that put profit before people and the planet. We demand a just and fossil-free world built on climate reparations and effective Loss and Damage mechanisms, the recognition of the Rights of Nature, real energy democracy that serves people rather than greenwashing and green mining, food sovereignty and agroecology, gender equality, and the recognition and practice of communal and Indigenous knowledge. We stand for anti-fascism, antimilitarism, peace and a just transition that leaves no one behind.

This November, governments will gather in Antalya, Türkiye, for COP31, while communities on the frontlines continue to bear the costs of a crisis they did the least to cause. Yet climate justice cannot be delivered through corporate-sponsored negotiations, false market solutions, or greenwashing. It requires holding polluters accountable, phasing out fossil fuels, ending extractive destruction, providing full reparations to affected communities, and transforming the systems that drive ecological and social injustice. The real solutions lie in the collective power of peoples, frontline communities, workers, peasants, Indigenous Peoples, women, youth, and social movements defending life and building alternatives rooted in solidarity and care.

Across continents, from Asia to the Pacific, Africa, from Southwest Asia to North Africa, from Latin America to the Caribbean, from Europe to North America; movements and organisations will mobilise as part of a global wave of action for climate justice. In Türkiye, the Peoples’ Climate Summit, initiated by ecology organisations and a broad solidarity network of civil society actors, will create a space to share struggles, strengthen alliances, and build people-led strategies for systemic change alongside COP31. From defending ecosystems and communal knowledge to advancing energy democracy, agroecology, gender equality, peace, and a just transition, our struggles are interconnected. Together, we can challenge the forces of extraction, militarisation, and oppression and build a world that puts the planet before profit. 

On Saturday 14 November, join the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice! Organise or take part in actions in your community and join the global mobilisation and march in Antalya to make our voices heard by world leaders. Against corporate power, let us raise the voice of the people; against ecological destruction, let us defend life; against fascism and war, let us build solidarity and peace.

Now is the time for real justice. Another world is possible, and we must build it together.
