Why we’re marching against the far-right
Climate justice means taking on billionaire power and the far right.
The climate crisis didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of an economic and political system that puts billionaire profit before people and planet.
Right now, those same billionaires and corporations are funding and fuelling the rise of the far right — promoting division, spreading climate denial and blaming migrants and marginalised communities for crises they did not create. They want us blaming each other, while they continue to profit from destruction.
The far right offers false solutions to real problems. It scapegoats migrants and tears down climate action, all while protecting the wealth and power of fossil fuel corporations and the super-rich.
But the problems arrive by private jets and super-yachts, not by small boats.
Climate breakdown, rising inequality and the politics of hate are symptoms of the same rigged system. And our answer must be solidarity.
A genuine just transition offers a different path: one where wealth and power are put back into the hands of communities, where the economy serves life, and where people — not corporations — decide our future.
On 28 March, the climate justice movement will stand alongside workers, migrants, civil society organisations and communities across the UK.
Because climate justice means taking on the far right. It means taking on billionaire power. And it means building a future rooted in justice, solidarity, and hope.
