Fridays for Future Porto (Portugal) did not fail to appeal and mobilized yesterday, November 6th, to call for a Just Transition that has to be done with Indigenous communities and the working and vulnerable population at the front line. Climate justice recognizes that all struggles originate from the same unjust system. In Porto, more than 150 people gathered to remember the farce that is the COP and supported the rebellion against hypocrisy and procrastination by government entities. The climate crisis is not going to be solved by the main environmental criminals that are gathered at COP26. We want solutions that reduce carbon emissions, but also create a fairer world — this means climate action based on justice, redistribution of resources and decentralization of power. Yesterday's action had the collaboration and union of several local and nation movements and associations that came together with the same objective: Fight for Climate Justice. ______ We did a march till the city hall where people and local movements had the possibility to speak about the inaction of the governments.
