Plymouth produced an assembly with an hour of speakers from 12midday to 1pm, followed by a march of 1 mile through the City Centre to a rally and 1.5 hour people's Assembly in the Methodist Central Hall. Over one thousand people were counted as being on the march, with banners from trade unions including PCS, Unite, UNISON, NEU, UCU and the Plymouth Trades Union Council. The XR red and green spirits offered street theatre alongside the march. 160 people contributed for the full period of the People's Assembly which considered "The Future" and made proposals towards zero-carbon by 2035 in the areas of transport, housing, legislature and citizenship, food & agriculture, and the ecology. The Hub agreed to continue in place after COP26 to support and help coordinate action and events between the various activist grassroots groups and trades union branches in the City and surrounding area. www.plymouthhub4climate.org
