People and Nature vs The UNFCCC: A People’s Tribunal on the United Nations Framework Convention in Climate Change
At current global average heating at 1.2°C, we are already seeing various climate-induced catastrophes that are producing adverse impacts, not just on the environment, but also people’s health and their livelihoods. This event will simulate a court trial to put the UNFCCC and the governments that are parties to the negotiation for the agreements, targets, mechanisms and false solutions that are failing to stop climate change which are affecting humanity now and compromising the lives of future generations.
