Kurdistan: a revolution of social ecology on the frontlines of environmental warfare
Kurdistan is simultaneously the frontline of ecological destruction as a weapon of war, and also the place where the principles of social ecology — a holistic view of society and the environment — are practiced, providing hope and an example of rebuilding a new world in the shell of the old. In this session, our panelists from across Kurdistan and the world discuss the Turkish state’s sub-imperialism, social ecology and ongoing sustainable energy and agriculture projects.
