Growing up amid climate injustice: Youth MAPA stories

As youth from different countries in the most affected areas, we want to tell the world about our stories growing up facing the climate crisis and injustice. Through this creative storytelling session, we aim to showcase our different cultures and lifestyles that have been erased through colonization — these cultures and lifestyles that already live and breathe climate justice and ecological harmony. Through this contribution we aim to uplift youth MAPA voices and show everyone the world that we are fighting for — one where cultures come together and uplift each other and compliment each other, one that prioritizes justice, people, and planet, not profit. Through our stories, we aim to expose the rotten roots of the profit oriented, colonizing, racist system that has led to our destruction and to uproot this system.
