Frontline Stories of Struggle Against Climate Capitalism
Indigenous and environmental justice communities on the frontlines of climate chaos have been resisting a plethora of false, corporate schemes and neoliberal climate policies that continue to threaten their lives, lands and self-determined pathways to climate justice.
This participatory workshop and strategy session will center the voices, experiences and collaborative strategies of frontline communities resisting a host of bogus, neoliberal proposals being advanced under the plans to implement the Paris Agreement, including Net Zero Emissions, Carbon Capture and Storage, Nuclear Power, Biomass Energy, Nature-based Solutions and Drawdown.
In addition to hearing stories of frontline community fights, the workshop will have strategy discussions exploring ways to collaborate against proponents of these false solutions, such as philanthro-capitalists like Bezos’ Earth Fund and corrupt NGOs like The Nature Conservancy and World Wildlife Fund.
