Film screening: Subsidising the Climate Crisis

A new documentary from CEE Bankwatch Network, that will be screened during this session, reveals both the extent of this generous support and the relentless civil society effort tackling it in places like Slovenia and Kosovo – an effort which has also helped bring about a turning point in public finance for fossil fuels in recent years. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session, exploring what role these institutions – and civil society monitoring them – could play in the urgent global energy transition.
